Gilcraft 27 Motor Sailer

One of our favourite vessels of all time, the Gilcraft 27 is a true motor-sailer with gorgeous, traditional lines, a beamy hull and full length ballasted keel. "Tyngara II" was launched in 2005 and is the last GC27 built. She was moulded in vinylester fibreglass by Beachcomber Boats here in Gippsland, and fitted out with meticulous attention to detail. Her bright interior features a twin vee cabin up forward, galley and convertible dinette in the saloon, and an enclosed head with hot shower and vacuflush toilet. Plenty of storage throughout. Externally, the Gilcraft has a wonderful cockpit, teak lined, with plenty of cushioned seating and easy access to the wide, walk-around decks. Her rig and sail plan are larger than the standard Gilcraft and can be handled from inside the wheelhouse. She is powered by a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel with only 460 hours use, driving an Autostream feathering prop. The layout makes great use of the available space, and she is full of well thought out design features, and a level of fit and finish uncommon in production boats. But best of all, she is just so pretty!
