Griffin 36 Sloop Classic Griffin
"Eventide" is a 35 foot "Classic Griffin" built by George Griffin in 1946 of oregon planking over spotted gum frames. She has competed in races on Sydney Harbour for over 75 years and is now looking for a new owner who will look after her and return her to her former glory. She has just been fitted with a brand new 14HP Nanni Diesel engine (N2.14) and gearbox with less than 15 hours on the clock. Additionally she has just been updated with 2 new 100ah batteries, new bilge pump and controller, new wiring loom and instrument panel.
Eventide does require some work and would appeal to someone with a sense of maritime history and a love of wooden boats, however she has recently been sailing and is watertight and sound.

Eventide is a lovely old yacht looking for a new owner. She is not without issues as is expected on a yacht of this vintage but would respond well to some love and care. I am selling this boat on behalf of a mate who can no longer enjoy her. He would like to see Eventide go to a good home and is prepared to negotiate with the right buyer.
