OzSea II is a well-equipped and carefully maintained Hanse 370, offering the perfect balance between ease of handling and cruising performance. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co. And built by Hanse Yachts, this model is known for its spacious interior, modern lines, and the simplicity of the self-tacking jib - a hallmark of Hanse's practical approach to shorthanded sailing.
This example has been in the hands of experienced owners who have invested in thoughtful upgrades, including a full standing rigging replacement in 2019 and ongoing improvements to running rigging with Dyneema lines throughout 2019-2020. Sail handling is a breeze thanks to the self-tacking jib system, slab reefing, and electric winch, complemented by a comprehensive wardrobe that includes a tri-radial mainsail, matching self-tacker, Code Zero on a furler, asymmetric spinnaker with sock, and a 130% genoa with spare tracks and running rigging.
The deck layout is designed for easy cruising and occasional performance sailing, with six winches - including an electric halyard winch - and two wheel options: a 140cm wheel and a compact 1 m Lewmar folding wheel for cruising. The rig is by Z-Spars with double spreaders, and all lines are led aft to the cockpit for safe and efficient sail handling.
Power is delivered by a dependable Yanmar 3YM30C 30 hp engine with saildrive and three-blade folding stainless steel propeller. The engine has 1,735 hours and was last serviced in May 2025. Energy management onboard includes 300 W of solar power with a Victron MPPT regulator and Wi-Fi battery monitor, plus a 2.8 kW inverter and 3 x 120 Ah AGM house batteries.
The navigation suite is integrated and user-friendly, with a B&G Zeus² 9" chartplotter, B&G Triton² displays, Raymarine ST6002 autopilot, and Icom M510 DSC VHF with AIS receiver - all networked via NMEA 2000.
Below decks, OzSea II features a two-cabin layout with generous living space in the saloon, a large forward owner's cabin, and a double aft cabin. The L-shaped galley is well appointed with a 130-litre fridge/freezer, a separate 23-litre Waeco freezer, a two-burner gimballed stove with oven, and microwave. The head includes an electric toilet and hot shower.
Additional comforts include a dodger, bimini, boom bag, BBQ plumbed to the gas system, and sunshade extension.
Used primarily for local cruising around Sydney Harbour and Pittwater over the past six years, OzSea II has never been chartered. The boat was antifouled in May 2025 and is booked for another haul later this month.
Soon available for inspection by appointment.
