Hanse 370E
The Hanse 370e is one of Hanse's most popular and enduring models - recognised as a strong, stiff and lightweight hull thanks to the epoxy laminate, the 370e is a rewarding and responsive sail boat that is easily managed. This boat is in immaculate condition.
The 'e' suffix denotes that the hull and deck are moulded using epoxy resins. Although more expensive than traditional polyester and vinylester resins, the epoxy is lighter and has a higher tensile strength. The weight saving on a 370e is approximately 500kg over the polyester and vinylester, making the boat lighter, stronger and faster than a similiar polyester boat. Epoxy also has a lower water transmission rate and has a higher resistance to attack by water. Ie No osmosis.

Remarks
JEM was equiped for off shore sailing to complete the circumnavigation of Van Diemens Land ( Tasmania ) in 2009. This required the installation of a HF Radio and earth, EPIRB, flares, and liferaft. The electrics were also beefed up to Heavy Duty componentry to complete the passage.
