Description: Hanse 430E Performance Cruiser
"Piong Bokunani" ('Wind Whisperer' in Nasioi - Bouganville) is a one-owner Hanse 430e. Designed by Judel/Vrolik & Co these yachts are built to the highest standard with performance in mind, albeit an attractive, elegant and functional cruising yacht, comfortable, sea-kindly and easy to handle.

When boarding (via the big open transom or by the midship side gates) you quickly realise that this vessel has been meticulously cared for without compromise. From the highly polished hull to the spacious cockpit with twin (carbon) wheels and well-maintained teak decks, This is a much-loved cruising/racing yacht. The spray-dodger-sheltered cockpit is set up to allow the seamless switch from racing mode to cruising.

PB offers a modern interior finish with flush surfaced tasteful cabinetry, leather trim on the lounges and custom linen. She is comprehensively equipped with a complete array of electronics at the nav station below and on deck. A 55hp Yanmar diesel quietly and efficiently powers her through the chop. Below-deck comforts include ducted cabin heating, numerous deck hatches and opening ports providing light and ventilation, a full-service galley, three very comfortable private cabins (forward with en suite) and a stand-alone day bathroom.

"Piong Bokunani" represents a rare opportunity. CALL MATTHEW at to arrange an APPOINTMENT to INSPECT.

NOTE 1: PB has an extensive sail inventory see below (a comprehensive list can be provided separately)
NOTE 2: Insurance surveyed in 2023. The surveyor comments: "PB" is an excellent example of this highly sought-after cruising/racing yacht. She presents in an excellent and seaworthy condition".
NOTE 3: The construction method of the Hanse 430e (e = Epoxy) is a feature. The hull is a foam sandwich with epoxy resin on either side making for a light yet immensely strong hull. The bonus is that epoxy hulls are resistant to osmosis.

Step aboard via the wide transom or one of the midship gates. The uncluttered cockpit, with a folding table and BBQ, is perfect for end-of-day relaxation. The decks are extensively finished in laid teak. Stepping below, the light from deck hatches and side ports on the fine timber fitout is striking. A Webasto cabin heater provides subtle warmth. The walk though... The soundproofed engine compartment is behind the companionway steps. Aft to Port and Starboard are two private double berth cabins. The day bathroom is to port with the full-service galley opposite. Immediately forward of the bathroom is a folding table with settees on either side. The aft end cleverly opens up to reveal a fully functional nav station. The 7 to 8-seater dinette is opposite. This can be converted to provide occasional berths. All the upholstery is quality leather. Forward of the bulkhead is the queen-size private double cabin with ensuite. Sleeps 7 persons.

Galley
This is an outstanding galley. The large L-shaped galley is positioned to efficiently service both the cockpit and the dinette. The benchtops are finished in a Corian-type material.
