Her sail wardrobe is complete with a Quantum AC5 full-battened triradial mainsail, self-tacking jib, North Sails cruising Code Zero on furler, and a North Sails asymmetric spinnaker with snuffer. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and built by Hanse Yachts in Germany, the Hanse 458 reflects the highest standards of modern production yacht construction. The hull is GRP with vinyl-ester resin for osmosis resistance, and the deck is a balsa sandwich core for stiffness with minimal weight. The hull-to-deck joint is bonded and laminated for structural integrity, while the L-keel with a cast-iron ballast bulb provides stability and performance. The main bulkhead is reinforced, transferring rig loads efficiently, and the overall construction feels solid and precise under sail.

Deck and cockpit arrangements support both performance and comfort. Playlist has a hard rail in the cockpit for safe blue water cruising, carbon-spoke wheels, centre cockpit table with electric fridge and hot and cold sink, dodger, bimini, and practical features like a Weber BBQ. Systems onboard are modern and reliable, including a Yanmar 57hp diesel with saildrive and folding propeller, bowthruster, lithium house batteries, inverter/charger, solar panels, water maker, and comprehensive navigation and autopilot equipment.
