Hanse 505

Ciao Bella is an impressive Hanse 505 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Sydney Harbour.

Launched in 2015, this is the generation of Hanse's that arguably solidified the brand as one of the largest and most successful sailing yacht builders globally. Few others have so magically been able to blend, performance, ease of handling, and cruise functionality. The Judel / Vrolijk designed hull is responsive and efficient.

In Ciao Bella we have an example optimized for performance while also staying true to the design - that is an incredibly easy to handle quick cruiser. In 2023 a major rigging refit was undertaken. This included a Harken switch track being installed on the mast - this makes sail pack up a breeze. A traveler was added on the coachroof (not in the cockpit). Additional winches were installed so there are six in total, four are electric. Additional Garmin instrument displays were neatly installed on the coachroof which complement the comprehensive nav pack - two plotters, auto-pilot, VHF and HF, plus Iridium Go.

Below decks the space is light, airy, functional and beautiful. There are three double cabins plus a very practical utility room / storage cabin. The large owners cabin is forward with island berth and completely separated head and shower spaces. The galley and saloon are nicely divided by the centre island seating with storage and retractable TV. Refrigeration was upgraded on original order to there are two large drawer fridges plus drawer freezer.

The safety package is well above expectations with the yacht having previously met CAT 1 racing standards. The sail wardrobe is equally above what would be expected with new carbon main in 2023 plus delivery main, there is a genoa and jibs (all furling), plus furling Code 0, an asymmetric kite and four symmetric kites - more than enough to play with.
