Harmony 42

The Harmony 42 Elegance by Groupe Poncin Yachts is the perfect blend of performance and comfort. With a spacious interior ideal for family cruising, it offers a smooth, enjoyable sailing experience. This rare example boasts a performance keel, new sails, running rigging and new standing rigging scheduled for June.

A foldout boarding platform/Swim platform makes access to the cockpit from the dock or from the dinghy easy into a roomy cockpit with a Pedestal mounted folding wheel. Mounted on the instrument binnacle are Raymarine instruments with a 7" plotter, wind, Tri-date and auto-pilot. Adjacent to the transom is a hot & cold shower, and a Sovereign BBQ is mounted on the pushpit rail to port, while the Mercury 3.3hp tender outboard rests on the starboard pushpit rail. The cockpit is protected by a good sized bimini and spray-dodger, both in excellent condition.

The standing rigging is booked to be replaced in June and virtually all of the running rigging was replaced in 2024. The mainsail & genoa are high quality Aramid Tri-Radial new in November 2023, and there is also an assymetrical spinnaker in a sock, as well as a whisker pole for the headsail. The yacht was fitted with a new rigid boom-vang in 2024.

Down below the nav' station is to starboard witgh a pivoting seat. On the switch panel is mounted a Furuno GPS, the Fusion stereo and Icom VHF. Opposite is the day head with shower which has a manual toilet with holding tank. The saloon dinette to starboard is convertible into an additional double and there is a long galley to port with abundant locker and counter space. The symetric aft cabins are full doubles with good headroom, while the owners cabin forward is cleverly offset to be more rectangular and has an adjacent head.
