Harrison Butler Cyclone 24 ** PRICE REDUCED** Classic Yacht
**PRICE REDUCED** Mouette is a classic piece of WA history. A Harrison T Butler design built and launched in Albany in 1929. Originally named Cyclone I, she was built to the Cyclone design but with modifications to increase her size as agreed between Harrison Butler and Howard Hartman. Howard used her for 18 years as a fishing vessel. It was when he sold her in 1945 that she was renamed Mouette.
Under Rowley Goonan's stewardship in the 1990s, Mouette was restored to mint condition. This culminated in her being awarded "Best Yacht" at Fremantle's Classic Boat Festival.
Over the past 4 years:
NEW Nanni diesel engine.
NEW rigging.
NEW sails and ropes.
NEW anchor.
NEW carpet, cushions and the all important port-a-loo in the full standing head room cabin.
We have had her out of the water every 12 months and her hull is cleaned every 6 weeks by a diver so rest assured she is in great condition below the water line.
She is a very stable and comfortable cruiser who would suit those who appreciate the charm and character of a classic wooden yacht.
