The excellent hull and engine are good for an extremely long life. Diesel tanks: the galvanised pipe condensation trap to be disconnected and cleaned. Diesel tanks to be filled. Non-return valve to be fitted to the 150litre header tank infill line.

Main Bilge sump pump to be serviced or updated and bilge alarm re-established.
(Forward Bilge could be improved with auto pump out and 'full' alarm. )

Jib furler to be serviced. (Presently jammed at the top. )
Galvanised rigging turnbuckles replaced with ss turnbuckles and Dyneema lacing to chainplates. )
Dyneema lacing to bind over epoxy repair of the two broken sockets for the main spreaders. (A design fault with sockets too tight for movement in rough seas. )
Replace cockpit canvas/clears.
Replace softwood timber capping on the toe-tail with hardwood.

Practically ready to go for a short coastal trip.

Work needed prior to a serious ocean voyage:
I estimated for budget purposes it would cost:
$1,500 to service and re-supply the 6 man life raft.
$5,000 for haul out, jet blast, anti-foul, new zincs, weld repair rudder.
$1,000 to dewater the diesel systems and stock up on filters etc..
$2,000/1000litres to fill diesel tanks.
$3,000 to fix and tension rigging so the mast is more secure.
Also need Navionics, VHF radio and back-ups.
