HERRESHOFF H28 (HUGE PRICE REDUCTION)  

The H28 is arguably one of Herreshoffs most popular boats. Gundarra is one of the newer H28's and built using modern cold moulded construction. This method uses diagonally laminated timber strips to form the core and is sheathed with glass, forming an extremely durable, strong and light hull with an as good or better finish than GRP.

Her beautiful rich timber fit out combines with many cruising comforts including enclosed head with shower and holding tank, pressure water system, large double vee berth, convertible saloon table, ample galley and plenty of storage. Two house batteries power the chart plotter, fish finder, VHF radio, inverter and autopilot. Whilst a dedicated engine start battery looks after the very low hours engine. Shorepower provides charging through a smart battery charger whilst in the pen.

On deck we find a Muir electric anchor windlass with the luxury of a remote control in the cockpit, a furling system for headsails, Andersen self tailing primary winches, Cabin top winches are fed by two banks of Spinlock clutches. She has a full set of sails for racing and the furler for more relaxed sailing.
