The Jim Young Rocket is was extended to 33 feet when built designed for speed. This is a very tidy and well maintained fast racer/cruizer with plenty of head room inside the cabin for maximum comfort on longer hauls. With near new upholstery throughout, fully finished EVA Faux Teak Decking inside the cabin and in the cockpit gives it a smart presentation. The cabin windows were all replaced 12 months ago. Staunchens and stainless safety wire around deck replaced 3 years ago. New 2-pack deck paint 2years ago. New Starter Motor. The Hull is made from GRP- diagonal cedar plank sandwich which is strong, reliable and straighforward to maintain. At the stern there is a wide sugar-scooped transom for easy access into and out of the water. The vessel has tiller steering and fixed keel with bulb which makes for highly responsive steering particularly in marinas and around marks. The marine toilet has approx 40l holding tank capacity. There is 80l fresh water capacity for galley and sink with salt/fresh water taps. The vessel has 3/4 fractional sloop rigged, with 2 new mainsails
