Just reduced from $550K, "Just Do It' is a John Pugh designed 60 ft Crosswind II Pilothouse round bilge steel sloop. She was launched in 2014 and has been set up with serious expedition cruising in mind. The level of comfort, luxury and equipment is extremely high.
Just Do It is fitted with twin helm stations, one in the fully enclosed pilot house with a comfortable helm chair and the other is in the central cockpit under a hard top bimini which has excellent protection for hot, cold or windy conditions.
The saloon is spacious and comfortable and features bespoke marine fabric covered sofas and beautiful timber work. The galley is large with Miele stove, oven and microwave oven, customised stainless steel fridges and freezer, dishwasher, double stainless steel sinks and plenty of bench space and storage.
The accomodation features two large double cabins aft with a large bathroom, a twin bunk cabin forward with another bathroom for guests and a single casual berth in the pilothouse.
Just Do It is easy to sail shorthanded with large electric winches, an in-boom furling mainsail, furling headsail and furling staysail. This is fully complemented by a comprehensive Raymarine electronics package, B&G Hydra 2000 system including autopilot, radar, sat phone, VHF and HF radios.
Other features include a Perkins 120HP shaft drive diesel engine with only 200 hours, foredeck crane and cradles for 2 jetskis, water-maker, full air-conditioning, spa on the aft deck, solar panels, davits for tender, wind generator, bow thruster, twin anchor windlasses with plenty of chain, safety gear and more.
The twin bilge keels are designed to reduce the draft to only 2m with the added advantage of being able to sit aground unsupported if necessary, whilst still allowing good sailing performance. This permits Just Do It to visit locations otherwise not accessable to yachts of this size. This, together with the huge fuel and water reserves make Just Do It a true long range adventurer.
'Just Do It' was built in 2005 and only launched in 2014 after a lengthy internal fit-out. Much of the equipment is new and has been little used.
The boat has been professionally built, is immensely strong and the quality of the steel work and fit out is impressive.
Vessels like this are a rare find and this boat is in excellent condition. This is an ideal vessel for adventure cruising, surf safaris, expeditions and charter use (subject to AMSA approval).
