Moggy was first launched in 2000 in Washington State, USA. She had USA Coast Guard certification for commercial use and was fitted for exclusive skippered fishing charters. It is understood that she only ever did one charter.
The current owners bought Moggy in California in 2016 and have sailed over 10,000 sea miles in her, cruising the Pacific West coast to Canada and Alaska, then the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, four years in French Polynesia, then Fiji, Vanuatu, and Australia, arriving in November 2022. At that time she was imported into Australia.
In 2023 the owners cruised north as far north as The Diamond Islets (280 nautical miles offshore from Cairns) an amazing cruising experience.
Stepping aboard the extended scoops it is easy to be impressed by her beam and accompanying space on the back platform and her large cockpit with a comfortable dining area to port directly behind the galley with it's electrically-operated lowerable clear window panel, so easy to pass food and drinks through.
The central God Pod seats two and provides 360 degree vision, the Main and Headsail halyard and sheets return to the God Pod for easy handling with the Hydraulic winches.
There is a day head to starboard as you enter the saloon. There is a navigation station on the starboard side of the bridgedeck and a large seating/dining area on the port side with the refitted, modern galley aft on the port side.
In the hulls there is a head midships and a queen cabin aft and forward. There is a shower in the bow of each hull.
The side decks are wide for easy passage to the spacious foredeck.

This vessel is in excellent condition and a credit to her experienced owners who have worked hard to upgrade, maintain and present "Moggy" in Cruise Ready condition.
