2025 Global Marine Air Rider 9.6m Expedition - Big Mumma

Big Mumma is a highly capable 2025 Global Marine Air Rider 9.6m Expedition, purpose-built in aluminium for serious offshore operation, adventure cruising, and commercial use. Built by Reel Game Boats and Trailers, she combines rugged construction with impressive performance and a practical onboard layout, while her AMSA commercial survey provides additional versatility for prospective owners.

At 9.60 metres long with a 3.20-metre beam, Big Mumma offers substantial deck space while retaining excellent performance and manoeuvrability. Her aluminium hull and deck construction are designed for durability, while a substantial 900-litre fuel capacity and 350-litre water capacity support longer-range adventures. She is also offered with a trailer, adding considerably to her flexibility.

Power comes from twin 350hp Honda V8 5.0L outboards, each showing approximately 370 hours. With a combined 700hp available, Big Mumma delivers a reported cruising speed of around 26 knots and maximum speed of 45 knots. The engines benefit from a six-year warranty, with the inventory recording a 400-hour service completed in May 2026.

The helm is comprehensively equipped for serious navigation, featuring Garmin electronics with twin 16-inch and one 10-inch displays, Garmin radar, Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot, satellite compass/GPS and dual 1kW transducers. Dual VHF radios and a Sionyx night-vision camera further enhance her offshore and low-light capabilities.

Despite her expedition-focused design, Big Mumma provides practical accommodation for up to four, with a V-berth and coffin bunk arrangement, an electric head, hot and cold shower, and a certified galley equipped with twin fridge/freezers, gas cooking and stainless-steel sink. A Webasto diesel heater and 3000W inverter further enhance comfort aboard.

Safety equipment is comprehensive, including an 8-person Ocean ISO liferaft, 12 life jackets, three EPIRBs, eight flares, dual electric and manual bilge pumps, plus primary and secondary anchoring systems. The condition report also records the hulls, helm electronics, cockpit, engine room, saloon and accommodation areas as being in good condition.

Currently located in George Town, Tasmania, Big Mumma represents an impressive opportunity for buyers seeking a near-new, professionally equipped aluminium expedition vessel with serious performance, commercial capability, and the equipment required for demanding offshore adventures.
