Description: Lagoon 400 S2
** SOLD PENDING **
We are selling our 40ft Lagoon 400S2 Catamaran "Zissou". It is completely ready to sail away with way more inclusions and in better condition than you will find on any other Lagoon 400S2 on the market.

Mooloolaba based but we potentially be sailing around the Gold Coast in the coming months, so just talk to us about viewing options.

"Zissou" is a 2013 Lagoon 400 S2, with the popular 3 cabin 2 bathroom, "owners version" layout. Never chartered, never damaged and never in a hurricane.

Sailing is a pleasure with this boat, very stable and the most comfortable boat, both at anchor and underway. Close quarters manoevring using engines is fantastic, it's so much fun, it's almost like playing a video game. Auto pilot makes long passages a breeze.

It is fully outfitted for long term off grid sailing with a recently upgraded 2750w solar system, a bank of 36 LiFePo batteries and a 5kw Victron multiplus inverter. The boat has had the gas removed from the galley and now has an induction cooktop and electric 4 way oven (microwave, convection, steam, grill). Add to that the Schenker Smart 30 water maker with upgraded 600 litres of water storage and a baby nova washing machine, you are completely self sufficient!

There is reverse cycle air-conditioning in the saloon and main cabin, which is easy to run on the 2750w solar system.

We have just had the standing rigging replaced in March 2024 for insurance purposes and there is a large sail inventory.
It has 2 upgraded 39hp Yanmar engines with low hours (circa 1540 hours) and folding propellors. Propspeed done in Oct 2023.
It has a 3.4m Highfield tender with a 15hp Yamaha outboard.

Other upgrades from the previous owner are flexiteak on rear decks and sugar scoops and natural teak in the cockpit. The Lagoon service notice for the Lagoon 400 regarding water ingress to the Forward Bulkhead / Nacelle area was done by Lagoon in Spain prior to Zissou completing the Pacific ARC last year, there was no sign of any rot or damage, and with the factory Lagoon rectification she is totally sorted and seaworthy and ready for any adventures you have planned.

The boat was copper coated in 2021 (no antifoul needed until 2031), new full cockpit enclosures in 2022, extra bilge pumps and the 2 electric heads have had all the hoses changed for very expensive no smell hoses :-)

Professional survey from Oct 2023 available upon request.

We are flexible with purchase time frame, happy to work with someone who is after a boat immediately for this sailing season, or could do a longer settlement if needed.
