Lagoon 42

Launched in Sydney in 2019, Mirage is a well-maintained four-cabin Lagoon 42 and is now exclusively listed for sale with YOTI.

She's in great condition and comes with upgraded 57hp Yanmar diesels, along with a modern Alpi Walnut interior and Asburgo flooring. She was also originally ordered with a teak cockpit floor and an upgraded fridge/freezer setup.

When the current (second) owner purchased her in 2024, several smart upgrades were added including new cockpit clears, a solar array neatly fitted to the cabin top, a Code 0 prodder with updated running rigging, a diesel heater, and an additional plotter at the navigation table. The owner is very experienced and set the boat up to be self-sufficient, safe, and comfortable for cruising around Tasmania, with the option to head up the East Coast when the opportunity comes.

The Lagoon 42 has been one of Lagoon's most successful models ever produced, with hull #1000 recently leaving the factory in France. Designed by VPLP, the brief was to create a cruising catamaran with improved performance while still keeping the core Lagoon DNA. The rig was moved further aft, a more powerful sail plan was introduced, and a simple self-tacking jib was included. The result is a catamaran that's safe, quick, and stylish on the water.

Mirage is currently located just south of Hobart, Tasmania, and can be inspected at short notice.
