LAGOON 421  

R&R was purchased new in 2011 and is now listed exclusively for sale with the YOTI team in Queensland.

This vessel has been a successful charter yacht in the Whitsundays and, after an extensive upgrade over the past two years, is now available for private purchase.

The Lagoon 421 is often described as the perfect cruising catamaran; it has improved sailing performance over the 420 model and combines great 'live aboard' accommodations with thoroughly modern sailing attributes.

R & R has the versatile four cabins & 4 heads interior with large luxury heads and outstanding living areas. Each hull incorporates two double cabins, both with an Ensuite. In addition, all cabins feature Lagoon's unique large-view hull windows. These flood the accommodation with light and allow great views of the sea.

Her spacious cockpit can seat eight around the dining table, with easy access to the saloon through the large sliding door and window. The helm is raised to starboard, with excellent all-around visibility, whilst still in complete contact with the cockpit and close to the saloon. For many couples and families, this is a much sought-after feature. The saloon is light and welcoming, with a forward-facing nav station and well-appointed galley facing aft, within arm's reach of the cockpit.

When it comes to sailing, the Lagoon 421 comes into its own; the sheets and control lines have all been arranged to work on the cockpit winches and jammers, conveniently positioned next to the helm. In addition, the electric winch for the mainsail halyard and main sheet is a bonus for easy sail setting and trimming.

This vessel is equipped to cruise in comfort and safety. She is powered by two new economical 40 hp Yanmar engines, fitted new in Dec'22. Her Raymarine instrumentation includes a new plotter, multifunction displays (all new in 22), radar, and an AIS transceiver. In addition, the 645W solar panel array keeps the two new s/steel fridges and new s/steel freezer cool. When plugged into shore power, the two saloon air conditioning units will significantly enhance life aboard.

R & R was hauled out in Nov '23 at the Hawkes Boatyard in Airlie Beach for her annual Antifouling and Propspeed.

Other notable upgrades include her standing rigging and her furler in Oct '21. The Victron 2kw inverter/ battery charger and her two new start and 4 AGM house batteries were fitted in Nov '22.
