Designed by Ben Lexcen, and built with a molded deck in GRP.
The hull was built in timber west system and used to produce a female Mold by P Breen to 4C Survey requested commercially for 13 passengers, day trips and 8 passengers for overnight trips from Brisbane into Morten Bay and beyond. From this mould 24 Fibreglass vessels were manufactured and sold to the charter industry Ben Lexcen designed Whitsunday 43 Blue water Centre Cockpit mono-hull is a real cruising yacht. Having a fully enclosed centre cockpit and hard top allows for comfortable sailing in all weather conditions. Additional side awnings are also attached for additional shade and wind while at anchor. .
Ready to move aboard and go cruising up and down our great coastline or further afield out into the Pacific !! She has been excellently maintained good condition throughout. This is a very comfortable yacht to sail and she handles well in all conditions encountered. Hull west system Dynal sheaved. ENGINE DESCRIPTION: The yacht is powered by a Yanmar diesel 30 HP 3- cylinder model "3GM". Yanmar SD60 sail drive. Alternator 12V. Yanmar panel in the cockpit Sound proof large central engine room with great three sided access areas for inspection and servicing. This is located under cockpit amid ships. Diesel in Stainless Steel tank fuel capacity 360 liters. ANCHOR & WINCH: Primary: 25kg CQR type plough anchor with 75 Meters of 10mm S/Link galvanised chain. Secondary: 24 kg plough anchor with line. Muir Cheetah HR-watt motor 10mm/12V horizontal Windless.
ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION:
Stepping down the companionway out of the centre cockpit you enter the saloon area of the yacht.
Here we have the saloon table just port of amidships with seating around this to the port side and forward of the table.
Opposite here is another settee that will double as a berth when required. Moving forward you enter the Pullman style
guests cabin. The double berth is to port and features extra storage lockers above that can be used for the bulkier
items when needed. A single berth to starboard with lockers above add to the large storage volume aboard the boat.
o Forward again and you step into the guests unsuited. Returning back through the saloon, and to port,
o the galley is tucked in nicely. Plenty of room here for the galley hands and ample lockers and bench space.
Port side access to the engine bay is in the galley with the main toilet shower and hand basin aft.
The companionway is removable and here you gain forward access to the engine bay. To starboard you enter the nav station with the fridge and freezer under, the main engine access is opposite this. To ward the rear you enter the owners double cabin where a wardrobe and single bunk are to starboard and the
double berth takes up most of the area with more storage lockers, numerous opening deck hatches throughout Two x Double berths. One forward and one in the aft master cabin. Saloon U- shaped settee to port a nice built in table feature amidships here and settee to starboard with storage extra high ceilings 7" foot plus. Two x showers forward & aft, 1 Shower sump pump, 3 x Bilge automatic 12V submersible sump pumps Forward, midships & aft. LPG 4 burner stove with grill and oven, 240 microwave, electric 240v & Eutectic large fridge/freezer under the nav station works very well lots of storage space. WATER CAPACITY: 4 x stainless steel tanks holding 800 lts :- 2 x Under the forward berths 200 lts each, 1x under the saloon seat 200 lts and 1 x main cabin under the double bunk. A 240v 25-lts Reem hot water tank is in the lazarette.

GENERAL REMARKS: She is a very comfortable, easy sailing yacht, she is more stable
& comfortable than most modern boats today and has AUSTRALIAN and New South Wales
Registration. She is located in the marina at Tweed Heads for ease of viewing. I am happy to
