John Lidgard 32ft vintage racing yacht. Built from double diagonal planked NZ kauri, is in sound condition.
Takiri was designed as a racing yacht with a 8ft 6in beam. Built in New Zealand and fitted in Sydney in the early sixties,
Takiri belonged to one of the founding members of the Middle Harbour Yacht Club, Sydney and has a fairly illustrious racing history.
The hull and keel has been repaired and covered with dynel. The deck and cabin has been repaired and dynelled as well.
