Designed by the renowned Bill Dixon, the Moody 54 yachts deliver outstanding performance and have an impressive record in the Sydney to Hobart races and ARC transatlantic rally.

Bandb features a single-level living concept offering a unique approach to modern yacht design and making for comfortable passage making and world cruising. The sliding doors between the cockpit and main saloon create seamless transition between indoor/outdoor living and provide panoramic views from the saloon living area and the spacious cockpit on the same level.

The large cockpit table and open aft deck create an ideal space for spending time with family and friends and gives the yacht enormous living choices. Her spacious cockpit is fitted with a pair of long, comfortable lounges and large convertible table, with a retractable soft bimini providing all-weather protection.

Accommodation comprises a generous owner's cabin with ensuite, and there is also an additional three guest cabins to comfortably host family and friends. With a total of four separate cabins and three heads and showers, there is room to host eight in comfort.

The Moody 54 DS efficiently combines the attributes of a monohull, a powerboat and a catamaran. All sailing controls and running rigging are led aft to port and starboard electric Lewmar winches just forward of the steering pedestals.

The transom folds down hydraulically to create a substantial swim/¬boarding platform for safe sea access. From the engine to the sails, any part can be controlled by a single person at the helm. As a true deck saloon yacht, controlling the yacht in wet or windy conditions can be done from inside the saloon easily by using the autopilot and throttle at the chart table.

An extra-high bulwark, grab handles on the saloon roof and the fixed railing give a secure passage along the side deck, even if the weather gets rough.

Bandb has state of the art systems with a C-Zone touch pad to control all electrical items, such as the bow thruster, stern thruster, electric in-mast furling and powered furling for the headsails. All of these systems are controlled by one easy touch at the helm, meaning that even at 54ft she can be easily managed shorthanded.
