Mumm 36 "Georgia Express"
Legendary "Georgia Express", Farr design and Cookson built Hull No1 is presented for sale. Commissioned by Jim Farmer and Mick Cookson and skippered by David Barnes, Georgia Express was one of the first and most successful Mumm36s built. After competing with podium places overseas for many years in distinguished regattas including Corum Cup, Kenwood Cup and the Mumm36 one-design world championships, she eventually returned to Australia. She underwent a redesign and refit with swept-back spreaders and a torpedo keel, which alongside her light weight makes her a fast and nimble boat faster than much larger boats.
For the past 2 years she has been a hybrid inshore and offshore racing boat, receiving several substantial upgrades - new lithium ion electric system, smart alternator and fully redone keel and tiller. She is fully cat1 ready with a full inshore and offshore sail wardrobe and ready for a new adventure with a new skipper and crew.

Remarks
This boat presents fully ready for a new owner to make their mark. The standing rigging was replaced in 2021, keel was dropped and overhauled in 2023, new electric system installed in 2024 and the rudder was dropped and bearings replaced in 2025. There is simply nothing left to do.
