Classic Timber Racing Yacht "Bronzewing" 35'9"

This beautiful boat is in excellent condition and has just had a very good survey in October 2025 and new standing and running rigging fitted.

She was built in Launceston in 1895 by Ned Jack from Huon and King Billy Pine and underwent an extensive restoration in Hobart in 2011. Since her relaunch, she has been slipped twice yearly for a clean and routine maintenance. She has an impressive portfolio of photos, scale models and pennants as well as full photographic documentation regarding her restoration.

Equipment includes a wardrobe of Quantum racing sails ie 1 mainsail, 3 headsails and 2 other spinnakers. A 6 hp extra long shaft Mercury 4 stroke out board is also included.

Since her relaunch in 2011, Bronzewing has continued to win many races and pennants in the RYCT/DSS twilight series and she is a pleasure to sail.

Bronzewing is moored off Batter Point and is available for inspection.
