A great example of an Australian Classic.
With a new engine fitted in 2020, and a new mainsail in 2021, Grayling is ready for new owners.
The Northshore 27 was an extremely popular model, for good reason. Easily sailed short handed, her generous cockpit and roomy interior were well ahead of their time. Under sail, they are a very well behaved and balanced boat, and slip easily through the water. Her jib is on a furler and her main flakes down into a lazyjack bag, so one person can pack away all the sails in moments. Her mast is deck stepped so can be easily lowered for towing and servicing.
Kept on a marina, Grayling has always been looked after, and has had her interior upholstery replaced. Internally, there is a generous table, a vee berth and and quarterberth, as well as a galley with a stove, icebox and an enclosed head. Her interior belies her size!
She is ready for cruising up and down the harbour, twilight racing, or overnight stays. An Ideal boat for someone looking for a first vessel, as she is easily maintained and very seaworthy.
Please come and inspect Grayling in Rushcutters Bay, or contact Campbell Geeves at Flagstaff Marine for more information.
