The Northshore 27 was an extremely popular model, for good reason. Easily sailed shorthanded, her generous cockpit and roomy interior were well ahead of their time. Under sail, they are a very well behaved and balanced boat and slip easily through the water. Her jib is on a Furler and her main flakes down into a lazy-jack bag, so one person can pack away all the sails in moments. Her mast is deck stepped so can be easily lowered for towing and servicing.
