NORTHSHORE 33  SOLD

Aquatonic is a well-maintained Northshore 33 and is ready to go sailing. The Hank Kaufman cruiser/racer design gives nicely balanced sailing performance and is competitive in club racing and with good seakeeping capability is comfortable for coastal cruising. All control lines come back to the cockpit and sailing short-handed is easily managed.

The engine is a Yanmar 3YM20 diesel which has done 320 hours and has been regularly serviced. The Gori prop pushes the hull along nicely under motor and folds up to give excellent sailing performance.

The electrics have been rewired with an upgraded distribution panel and a solar panel keeps the batteries always fully charged.

The working sails are from North Sails and the triradial cut mainsail and headsail are in good condition. The headsail furls on a low profile furler installed in 2022 which gives excellent performance. The mainsail has two reefs and when not sailing is well protected by a North Sails lazy jack boom bag. There are 2 spinnakers and a spinnaker pole and whisker pole.

The standing rigging was replaced in 2022, and the running rigging is in good condition. New chainplates and stemhead were installed in 2022. The gudgeons for the stern mounted rudder were renewed in 2022. The bottom has been epoxy coated and with a hard antifoul is always in good condition.

The interior has an aft cabin and a forward V berth, and there are three single berths. The galley has a metho stove and ice chest. There is 200L fresh water in stainless tanks plus a 20L hot water system.

Boat speed and water depth is provided by a Raymarine i40 bidata instrument, and a Raymarine i60 instrument gives wind direction and strength.

Aquatonic is ready to go as a coastal cruiser.
