The Northshore 46 was designed to appeal to the sailors looking for some speed both around the buoys or out on the open ocean. She preforms well in all conditions and will suit a buyer wanting to cover the miles reasonably quickly. The added bonus is the lifting centerboard set-up allowing her owners to anchor in places usually well out of reach of a similar sized yacht (and many smaller yachts). Current owners have sailed extensively up and down the east coast over the years, but timing is right for them to focus on other adventures. She wil be happy sailing around the south coast of Australia or heading north into the tropics again. The diesel heater is just a real bonus if heading south. Plenty of upgrades have been commissioned over the last few years and very importantly the rigging was replaced in 2019 so good for a number of years ahead. Internally she is in good condition and will make a great liveaboard without breaking the budget.

Accommodation
Heading down the companionway you have the port and starboard double cabins at either side of the cockpit. The starboard cabin has a nav station and some important instruments above a small desk. Port side is similar without the nav units. Stepping forward from here the large refrigeration unit is to starboard and the guest ensuite is to port. From there you enter the saloon with U shaped seating around a large drop down table. Ample natural lighting here and plenty of room to move forward even with a full table of guests. The galley is to starboard of here and has loads of storage both above and below the bench. A clever drop down chart /nav gear storage locker is located above the refrigeration under the coach roof.
Forward again there are large lockers to starboard and to port you find the owners head/shower. The Vee double is where you would expect, so forward again.
All in all she has a comfortable feel below decks and presents nicely. The cabin sole has seen a refurb and looks in near new condition.
