Summer Dream is a special boat that has been kept in factory original condition. She has had caring owners who have resisted modifying the boat for racing keeping her original. She features a full cruising fit out with beautifully crafted teak furniture. The interior is comfortable with a full set of bunk cushions and cabin lining, toilet, plus built in ice box and storage.
On board are two sets of sails for cruising and racing. She has an easy to use mast raising system, and the rig layout is tidy and efficient with all halyards going aft to Spinlock jammers.. The boat sits on a registered galvanised trailer in good condition and is powered by a 6hp Mercury four stroke in very good cond with high thrust prop. Overall the boat is good needing only cosmetic maintenance to bring her back to top condition.
Although Summer Dream is a cruiser we also enjoy social club racing. She has a set of competitive racing sails including full batten main, jib, spinnaker (original) and asymetric head sail. She recently competed in the 2026 RL Nats at Toronto, and while being at the back of the fleet she performed well with pleasing handicap results.
