The buyer needs this vessel sold. This solid fibreglass Roberts Offshore 44 centre cockpit was built in Main USA and has been sailing Australian waters for over a decade. The current owners have enjoyed many cruising miles over the past eight years and are now ready to move to land-based activities. The Offshore 44 design continues to appeal to serious cruisers and is an excellent example of a timeless coastal and blue water cruising yacht. This well maintained fully air conditioned vessel delivers accommodation for 6-8 persons, including a good sized aft owner's cabin. A fully equipped galley with gas cooking, separate refrigeration and freezer units, and a good sized saloon with a drop-down table if needed.
The 50hp BMW inboard diesel delivers reliable economic power via shaft to a folding prop. Long range 1000 litre fuel and water tanks are installed. Ample power with good house batteries, solar panels, a wind generator as well as a portable 3.5kva generator. An extensive Raymarine navigational package including Radar and Autopilot is included. Rigging and sails are in good condition with a forestay and inner forestay fitted. A zodiac tender / outboard package is included with Davits fitted for passage.
Fresh from antifoul and Propspeed in July 2023 she is ready for cruising. The vessel is available for inspection in Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, Queensland.
