Description: Roberts Mauritius 43 Cutter Rig Sloop
LIVEABOARD and much more.
"Boomaroo" is a lovely example of the Mauritius 43 and is perfect for liveaboard or extended cruising; suitable for family, 2 couples or even more spacious for just a couple.
Very well laid out and comfortable cruiser, with beautiful timber work throughout.
From solid centre cockpit step down into the spacious main cabin area; a large curved L-shaped settee with wooden table starboard. Opposite is the skipper's station and next to that is another two-seater couch. Lots of space. Moving forward, step down again to a roomy galley portside with a Tudor 2-burner stove with grill, s/s sink and lots of storage. Opposite the galley there is more storage and a roomy well-designed bathroom with pedestal head, basin and shower; timber lined and tiled flooring in the shower stall. Further forward is a light and airy V-berth.
Returning to the main cabin and heading aft, there is a passageway starboard which has a quarter berth with optional two single berths, before heading in to the large roomy main cabin... Very comfortable. On the port side there is another quarter berth area, which is currently used as a workshop/storage area but would return to single berths very easily.
The centre cockpit has single wheel steering and the area is protected with a good-sized bimini on a s/s frame, which also holds the solar panels, and a solid doghouse. The decks are spacious with plenty of room to walk forward and plenty of room at the stern to enjoy the Classic BBQ. The folding s/s swim ladder and ease of access makes your sailing experience complete.
The Ford Lehman engine is regularly serviced and in very good condition; 3 blade broze prop; sails and rigging all in good condition.
Very recently antifouled (Feb 2022), "Boomaroo" is ready for her new owners to enjoy.
