Salar 40


CRISPIAN was the last Salar built and launched by Levi Bros Melbourne. Launched in November 1973 and sailed to Launceston where she was based for many years, before moving to Hobart.
In 2000 she was sold and moved to the Gippsland Lakes. For the past 25 years she has cruised extensively on the East Coast and particularly Bass Strait and Tasmania. In 2011 she had major work repainting from bottom of keel to top of mast.
Crispian is fitted with everything required for long distance cruising, except fresh food.
Included are 2 x VHF radios, ICOM 802 HF, Coursemaster 750bAuto Helm, Furuno Radar, Wind Indicators, AIS, Depth Sounder, Carbon Monoxide Sensor, Diesel Heater ducted to fore and aft cabins, 4 burner SMEV stove, 1500watt inverter, wired for 240 external power, Solar panels x 2 and Wind Generator, Gas BBQ. Lots generous accessible storage lockers.
