The popular Defiance 30s, designed by the legendary Sparkman & Stephens (USA) and built right here in Melbourne, are renowned for their great sailing qualities in all weather. They are an ideal first yacht with good stability, 6 berths, galley, marine toilet and plenty of room below decks for fun weekends away. Easily handled, their lively performance still sees them doing well in club racing and twilights too.

This 1981 launched Defiance 30 has an upgraded Yanmar 20hp diesel engine installed new in 2011. She is clean and tidy throughout with evidence of continuing upgrades and proper maintenance since we last sold her 28 years ago so she is ready to sail away and enjoy.
