The Starboard hull has a double cabin aft, well equipped Galley and fridge and freezer midships. There is a seating position and a V-berth forward. Ventilation throughout the boat is excellent with large opening windows on the forward side of the salloon.

Design and Details:
The 1000XL2 is the 2nd generation of the 1000 series from Seawind. More than 150 of the original have been built and the class has been proven to be the most popular cruising Catamaran in Australia. The boats have been sailed far and wide, including circumnavigation of Australia, which is a testament to their seaworthiness and reliability.

The hull design has been altered slightly in the XL version with the stems extended aft by about 2 feet. The extra waterline length adds to the boats speed while the volume reduces pitching motion. The long step makes it easier to board the boat from a dinghy and provides a neat locker where the swim ladder can be stowed.
