Seawind 24 Catamaran And Trailer

Seawind 24 and trailer for sale $11,000 ono. I am heading overseas on July 31st so I need to sell it before I go or after I return in several months time.

A 24-foot trailerable cruising catamaran designed by Chris Williams, the inaugural model of Seawind Catamarans in Australia. It can be launched and retrieved on the trailer, and towed as is, or it is a simple procedure to drop the mast and slide the hulls next to one another on their cradles. The 24 is constructed primarily in fiberglass (single-skin GRP hulls) with a tall rotating mast, twin daggerboards, and kick-up rudders, a fractional sloop rig, and a lightweight displacement of about 900kg, making it quick, stable, and easy to handle.

With the potential to be used as an ultra-light racer for its impressive speed, skiff-like responsiveness, and shallow draft, I have sailed it very conservatively as a beach hopper and day sailer, and a training platform for a bigger cruising Catamaran. I am now graduating to a large cruising Catamaran over twice the length, and sadly no longer have time to sail this one, so it is time to let somebody else enjoy it. The boat is currently on a mooring that was transferred with the boat, on the south coast of NSW, and if desired it may be possible to transfer this again with no or minimal charge.
