Seawind 24

Seawind 24 "Dream" for sale. Rego number JR295N. Purchased from previous owner in 2020, and has significant restoration since then. The decks between the hulls and centre console have been replaced with foam sandwich panels and the centre beam was replaced in 2015 with a dolphin striker added. Both mainsail and jib have been replaced with modern square top designs, which have improved sailing performance significantly. The main is stored on the boom under a cover and the jib is in a sailbag stored in the cabin. The mast has had its mast base/rotation arm removed and refitted and mainsail halyard sheave refitted by Tempo Spars in 2024. Shrouds, forestay and diamond stays including turnbuckles were replaced mid 2021. Dream is scheduled to have her annual antifouling on September 8th.
There's two anchors in bow lockers, and extensive safety gear including fire extinguishers mounted in each cabin, vhf radio, a life ring, life jackets, sea anchor/drogue and first aid kit. A reliable 8hp Tohatsu outboard with fuel tank and extra fuel containers.
There are four berths with mattresses, fore and aft in each hull, a bench seat and galley bench on the port side and a camping toilet to starboard. And a boom mounted deck tent.
An asymmetric spinnaker, self-tacking jib, a genoa and the old mainsail complete the sail wardrobe.
A battery under the step into the starboard cabin powers nav lights and cabin lights both sides and is charged by a solar panel mounted on the hatch.
It's a fun boat to sail and quite competitive in mixed fleets.
