Swanson Brothers are renowned for building Strong capable seaworthy boats from the early 60s until shutting up shop in the mid 80s due to competition from lightweight mass production French yachts.

Swanson Designed and built from Fiberglass this 14th Swanson 42 is Ketch Rigged with individual masts - no triatic stay. Powered by a 75Hp Perkins 4.236 in great condition, Oil and filter changes conducted every 100 hrs this motor will go forever.

Stepping on board to the center cockpit you feel protected on all sides from any size ocean swell, the Pilot house offers two births to keep you dry in any weather or sea state. Having been sailed extensively through her Life Phantom X is a proven cruiser thats traveled the world over without ever being left by a negligent owner, as such it is clear from any inspection there is still a lot of incredible sailing to be had with Phantom X.

Inside there is a spacious galley to Stbd with double sinks, and a two burner Gas oven with Safety certificate from WA, as well as a dual sensor gas alarm. Plenty of storage on both benchs Fwd to stbd is a bench seat for two under which you find a 200L water tank. To Port opposite the galley is a large Fridge with a new 2022 Isotherm fridge. And a U shaped settee that can comfortable seat 4 large adults. The table drops down to turn this area into a double bed.

Moving fwd you find a shower and heads with a refurbished (2023) lavac head with hand pump, also onboard but not fitted is the option to go electric. The sink in the shower and heas has a manual footpump Fresh water while the shower is hot and cold fed from a 20L hot water tank, dual heating from engine or shore power.
Plenty of storage space and a full size hanging locker with spare sails and lots of sheets. (100m 12mm poly + multiple dock lines and others)
Further fwd is the original V birth thats been used to house a multitude of spares and tools enough to keep the vessel sailing no matter what the weather throughs at you.
Inside the most FWD locker is the anchor chain (60m) and anchor winch (12V) +100m Rode
The anchor winch is operated on deck via a fwd and rev waterproof foot switches.
