Sydney Yachts 38OD
"Utopia" is a Sydney 38 #26 launched in February 2001 and spent most of it's life sailing in Wednesday and twilight racing with occasional Saturday races.
Originally owned by CYCA commodore John Messenger and maintained by Peter Messenger. Her standing rigging was replaced in May 2024 by Whalespar.
The rig was removed and fully checked at Whalespar Spar shop. The Sydney 38 is renowned as a great all round club racer and competed in many coastal and offshore events with winning results. This is a very clean example of this popular own design.
