Description: Van De Stadt Black Soo EXCEPTIONAL PEDIGREE
The Van De Stadt Black Soo design has long been regarded for its excellent sailing ability, offshore capability, and was considered well ahead of its time. The design was used for offshore racing and cruising yachts and had a great turn of speed for its length. This vessel has been well built by Richard Betts, and with her striking red hull she is truely an eye catching yacht.
The interior presents well, nicely painted out in white through out. The accommodation includes a double berth in the forepeak, single in the saloon and two aft pilot berths. The galley is well equipped with a 3 burner stove, large icebox, sink, and well organised storage spaces. There is ample natural light in the saloon, making it a great space for relaxing at anchor or for longer stays onboard.
Power is provided by a reliable 8HP Mercury outboard which is easily used in a well in the cockpit. This easily provides 5 knots of cruising speed. This vessel is set up to be easily managed shorthanded, with everything easily accessible for the helm position. A Lowance chartplotter, depth sounder, and compass, are all easily visible to assist with navigation.
With the pedigree of a great sea boat, and tidy fit out, this vessel would suit anyone looking for a yacht to get out and enjoy the warmer weather for a minimal investment. The owner is motivated to sell. For more information please call Jo Breen on 0432 031 100 or John Radonic on 0459 322 862.
