VAN DE STADT PION 30  

The Pion designed by Van de Stadt is still raced as a class in the Netherlands. They are a comfortable, fun, stable and a fast cruiser/racer for their size. This Pion has had many many upgrades recently and is a great way to get into sailing for a relatively small investment.

Relatively new and unused Yanmar motor onboard.
-new fuel lines installed
-fuel water seperator and filter upgraded
-inline filter installed in new fuel lines before water seperator and filter
-inline hand primer installed at engine end of fuel line for easy self priming after filter changes.

Repaired all osmosis
-ground out osmosis
-filled with epoxy/chopstrand
-2x coats of jotun epoxy barrier coat
-1x coat of jotun tie coat

Rewired all electronics. Installed new fuse board and new switching panel. Plenty of spare switches and fuse slots for mast lighting, running lights, usb charge points etc.
Installed new house battery 19/11/23

Removed non functioning eutectic fridge, installed 45lt brass monkey fridge. The existing solar/wind generator can keep this running for 24-48 hours without draining house battery. Fridge has mains power connection for when at shore.
Installed new am fm stereo and external speakers
Upgraded all interior lights to LED

Gas system bought up to standard, new gas certificate will be provided before sale

Old vanity and basin disconnected. Ready for removal and installation of shelving/home for the dehumidifier.
