Constructed by the renowned Jack Hoffland in round chine high grade Australian steel to full commercial standard this beautifull yacht now seeks a new owner to complete the internal fitout to their own requirements. The Van de Stadt Samoa 48 represents the pinnacle of round chine metal construction using radius line design. Conceived by Van de Stadt Design one of the most influential and highly regarded naval architects in the world. The deep vee hull makes these vessels exceptionally comfortable and sea kindly. Very high ballast ratios with around 6tons of lead in the keel makes the Samoa one of the safest and most powerfull mono hull cruising yachts in the world. Many have completed multiple circumnavigations.

SV Amok in the photographs was constructed in Falmouth UK and sailed to Perth over a 4 year period by a local Perth family. Amok then sailed to Tasmania and then on to New Zealand. She is now based at the Wellington Yacht Club NZ
