WHARRAM TANGAROA MK1  

Beautiful freshly refurbished catamaran with 4 berths, a sweet galley and workshop. Loads of storage and usable deck space. She has a stainless Bimini that covers 12 square meters, davits, and can come with a Highfield 2.8 Tender. She is powered by 2 Yamaha 9.9 outboards with hydraulic lift.

I have spent three years working on her in my spare time, approx 1000 hours and many thousands of dollars. She has 600w new flexi solar panels, 400 amp hours storage in fresh deep cell AGM batteries. New marine wiring, new regulator, new bluetooth monitor, new 3000W inverter, the motors have been overhauled with new impeller kits, new fuel lines and filters etc.. She has been completely repainted from top to bottom with two pack epoxy marine paints and all rot cut out and repaired with Australian Hoop Pine Marine ply saturated in West Systems epoxy, glassed and faired all using the best materials available.

She also has custom made deck tents, custom canvas covered quality foam mattresses and many spares etc..
I own the boat with a partner, our lives have proven too busy to make use of her and we hit the wall with funds to re rig her.

She has a freshly painted alloy mast ready for installation, she will need new shrouds and stays etc... And a new primary winch but her sails are in good condition. I could wax lyrical all day about how much I love this boat and am shattered to have to let her go.

She is the perfect boat for exploring the East Coast, up to Indo and beyond, she draws 700mm fully loaded so can navigate very shallow water comfortably.
She is on a mooring in Moreton Bay and can be hauled out for inspection a few hundred meters from her mooring at Pelican Bay Slipway.
