Description: Whiting 11.0 "Sinabada"
Paul Whiting (New Zealand) was a well-respected, innovative (ahead of his time) designer of boats with the common denominator being outstanding sailing characteristics, fast and vice free. "Sinabada", is probably the best Whiting 11 anywhere in terms of her outstanding condition and her comprehensive equipment inventory. A surveyor noted in his 2021 report... " Sinabada compares equally or better to many newer yachts".
The current owners have undertaken upgrades and a maintenance regime such that this vessel is ready for you to step aboard to cruise the world in safety and comfort. The features are many: *A sheltered, cushioned cockpit with sheet and halyard winches in easy reach. *Systems to allow the vessel to be handled by a couple. *Wide uncluttered decks. *Below deck, the ambience is warm and inviting with light from side windows and hatches on the superb shipwright crafted Cherrywood fitout. *A functional layout with two private cabins aft, V cabin forward, a private bathroom and spacious saloon with galley and nav station. *A 40 hp Volvo Penta with sail drive to power the vessel through the chop.
"Sinabada" is a rare and special vessel and will attract a lot of interest. CALL PAUL 0418 385 866 to arrange an INSPECTION.

Step below and note the superb American Cherrywood timber fitout. Special mention must be made of the fine shipwright standard of craftsmanship. Starboard aft is a large double berth cabin with a wardrobe and hanging locker. To port is a smaller cabin with a double berth and hanging locker. The galley is to port with the dinette immediately forward. The settees (seating for 8) are beautifully upholstered. The solid timber table can be reached from both sides. A private bathroom with vanity unit, hot/cold shower and toilet is to starboard opposite the galley. A neat nav station is forward of the bathroom. The navigator is within close communication distance of the cockpit. The double private 'V' cabin is forward of the bulkhead. As with the aft cabins the crew has cupboards and shelves close to hand. There is plenty of storage for the full crew for an extended cruise with lockers/cupboards/drawers (including spaces behind and below the saloon settees) below and above the deck.
