"Kurana'' is a classic sloop-rigged yacht, designed and built in Tasmania by Walter and Noel Wilson.
Built for Noel Wilson on his property at Crooked Tree Point and constructed between 1960 - 1963. She was used by the Wilson family for many years and had several owners until purchased and sailed to Geelong in 2001.
She is carvel planked in Huon pine on a hardwood frame with a Huon pine and Tasmanian oak interior. She is powered by a Volvo Penta 30HP Diesel engine, coupled to a fixed 3 blade propeller.
