Description: Wishbone Silver Gull Ketch
Very rarely does such a classic yacht like this become available. This New Silver Gull originally built in 1939 is a Wishbone Stays'l ketch with 6 working sails. It has been restored without any expense with carefully concealed and flawlessly incorporated systems and subtle modern amenities for comfortable living on deck and below.

With 6 working sails, the Gull carries a "cloud of sail " If sailing 2 up you rarely need to set more than 3 sails

The interior refit and upgrading process has been undertaken with the desire to retain as much as possible, the traditional boat feel and appearance. The furniture in the saloon and galley is all polished timber, with leather covers and laid Beech cabin soles. Where possible, 21st century 'luxuries' such as microwave oven, air-conditioning and washing machine TV and electronics etc are discretely hidden behind closed doors or panels.

The Gull is now looking for its next custodian to continue its worldwide adventures. A plethora of further information on this classic yacht is available at request,
