41'' DENNIS LOBS DESIGN  

Bohemian Rhapsody Fast blue water cruiser. Built in New Zealand by renowned boat builder / designer Dennis Lobs. Built in the late 80's with marine ply using the epoxy west system. The hull is double diagonal marine ply making her a very light and stiff boat.
Dennis Built and designed this boat for his family of four and did extensive cruising from New Zealand to the spice islands of Indonesia.
When I bought Rhapsody 5 years ago she needed a full refit, paint work was tired, sails were old but her bones were still good, she was very well built.
I took on Rhapsody as a shipwright to bring here back to here former glory. Rhapsody has had a Full refit. New 2 pack paint job topsides and cabin. New deck tread. Full rewire. New fully battened Main, Genoa, Staysail and boom bag with lazy jacks. New Sunbrella boom tent. Re- powered with 25 -hp 4 stroke Honda with low hours. New electric winch to pull the Honda out of the water while she is underway creating less drag while sailing. New anchor winch. New paint work inside cabins. New Bed mattresses and cushions. New blocks ect...

Rhapsody has 2 dagger boards one in each Armour and a centre board in the bow of the main hull witch gives here add windward ability.

Berths 3 x doubles and 1 single. 2 x doubles in the aft cabin and 1 x double and single in fwd cabin.

Galley has 2 burner gas stove with 109 ltr
12v Waeco Fridge freezer. Lots of cupboard space. Electric toilet and shower
