2025 Aurora Reef Rider 240UL alloy RIB and ePropulsion eLite 500w electric outboard
Both in as-new condition and still under warranty.
Purchased March 2025 for our trip to the Whitsundays and FNQ as our main tender very heavy. This lighter package afforded us flexibility when leaving it ashore.
Purchase price was $4699.
The ultra light Aurora weighs just 26kg and had an alloy hull and welded PVC tubes.
There are 3 davit lifting points although by wife and I have no problem lifting it onto the bow.
Capacity is 3 people / 290kg,
Dimensions 2.4m long, 1.6m wide and can accomodate outboards up to 2.9kw / 4hp.
The V hull gives a drier ride and there is a keel rubber protector running full length of the hull.
Includes oars, pump and repair kit.
The streamlined design ePropulsion electric outboard weighs just 6.7kg, making it very easy to lift onto the dinghy, and there is no fuel tank or fuelling to worry aboard.
The engine starts and runs well. At full power the range is 3.5M at 4.7k, at half power the range increases to 5.6M at 3.7k.
The engine comes with outboard bracket, battery charger, carry bag and safety line.
Price to sell separately; dinghy $2250, outboard $1500.
