Ready to stop dreaming about sailing and start doing it?
L'Amour de la Mer is a 1987 Austral 20 that's equally at home cruising, racing or sailing solo.
- 2024 Centaur Long Race Winner
- Multiple handicap club race wins
- Successfully sailed solo on several occasions
- Great cruiser around the WA coast
She's been thoroughly enjoyed over the past three seasons and has taken us on some fantastic adventures:
- Weekend trips to Fremantle -- explore, eat, relax and sail home
- Exploring Carnac Island
- Visiting Rockingham foreshore for cafés, lunch and coffee
- Anchoring off Little Island for a snorkel and lunch
- Numerous Rottnest Island overnight trips with $0 accommodation!!
The Austral 20 is a wonderfully forgiving yacht, making her ideal for someone learning to sail or developing their skills. She's also a great option for someone downsizing or without a regular crew.
But she's not just a learner boat - she can race!!
L'Amour de la Mer has a lovely balance of performance and practicality. She'll take you exploring one weekend, racing the next and out for a solo sail when you simply need to escape.
After three fantastic seasons, it's time for someone else to discover the freedom, adventure and love of the ocean that comes with owning your own yacht.
