This boat has helped us tick our bucketlist of exploring the Whitsundays at our own pace and leisure. Why pay $400 each person for a day tour and be hurried when you can stay for a few nights, watch the sun rise over the Great barrier reef, snorkel after breakfast, have a nap, cook a bbq for lunch, go fishing in the afternoon at the outer reefs then watch the sun kiss the ocean and go to bed after some star gazing. You wouldn't be in a hurry to leave in this boat. She holds ample water and fuel. She has extra fridge/freezer to store your food and drinks. Fantastic Magma BBQ grill for cooking fish right after you catch. Run the generator to boil water for coffee and to charge your devices or cook with induction cooker. Then unplug and go offgrid and relax.
We travelled to Hamilton Island and booked a marina berth for a week. Ample time to explore the island, swim in the pools, watch the sunset from one tree hill, visited all the venues, restocked the boat with groceries from IGA and all for $755 for 7 days marina berth.
She's berthed at Coral Sea Marina, stunning marina that offers so much perks to marina guests. While we are there, we use the marina facilities which include a large gym, the look out lounge, laundry facilities, bbq area, well appointed bathroom/shower facilities, the use of the coral sea resort pool as well as the use of courtesy cars to go grocery shopping. From her berth, it is a 8 min easy stroll - past coral sea resort, straight into Airlie Beach town.
