In addition to its striking good looks, the Chris-Craft Corsair 25 is a refined and thoughtfully designed vessel. Its lines are both timeless and functional, offering a blend of classic styling and modern usability.
You will appreciate that these vessels were designed and built to a high specification, with this example representing one of the most desirable combinations produced. It has been kept up to date and meticulously maintained, featuring a discreetly installed modern power and electronics package, along with numerous components replaced with like-for-like new parts.
Carefully selected features from Heritage Packages I and II provide a balanced combination of teak and stainless steel finishes, creating a more refined appearance than examples fitted with either no teak or excessive teak trim. Finished in the highly sought-after Yacht Club Blue with Red Stripe colour scheme, the exterior is complemented by crisp white finishes and neutral upholstery tones. This example also retains the classic Chris-Craft helm design, preceding the later dashboard and switch-panel layouts that many enthusiasts consider less attractive and less timeless.
This Corsair is powered by a modern Volvo Penta DuoProp package installed as part of a complete repower in 2019, delivering quiet, efficient performance and a top speed of approximately 45 knots. The newer drivetrain also provides excellent fuel economy and seamless integration with the vessel's electronics systems.
The GPS, echo sounder and sound system are all recently installed Garmin units integrated via NMEA networking with the engine package. The electrical systems were inspected by a reputable marine auto electrician in January 2026, with fuse blocks, lighting and wiring repairs undertaken where required.
The fuel tank was replaced during the winter of 2026. Combined with the other recent repairs and upgrades, much of the significant expenditure typically associated with a vessel of this age has already been completed.
The trailer is an Australian-made aluminium dual torsion axle unit rated to 4.2 tonnes and purchased new in 2024. It tows exceptionally well, supports the boat comfortably, and sits at an ideal height for launching. Despite the higher-rated trailer, aggregate towing weight is expected to remain below 3.5 tonnes in most configurations.
