CLASSIC DAY CRUISER / TENDER
A beautifully restored classic day cruiser or tender with white beech timber deck and flooring and a vintage Simplex engine for the unique putt-putt experience. This boat is a joy to admire and even more so when on the water.
HULL: Modern 16ft fibreglass hull built in 1995 in Forster. Hull was moulded from a timber fishing boat that was one of a fleet that could be hired in the Forster Tuncurry area in the 1950's, a very stable and reliable design. White beech timber flooring and deck were added in 2007.
ENGINE: Simplex Marine Engine - a Single Cylinder 5Hp 4 Stroke manufactured in Sydney. The engine underwent a restoration and installation into the hull in 1995. The electric start Magneto was installed in November 2016. Forward and reverse operation.
TRAILER: The Felk Trailer was fitted to the vessel in 2007 after the restoration of the vessel. Designed specifically for vessel and recently fully refurbished. Bearing minders, new tyres and new wheel bearings fitted in 2025. Registered to November 2026.
OTHER FEATURES:
o Custom made full covers designed to fit the hull perfectly for travel and storage

PERFORMANCE AND CONDITION:
As you can see from the photos (and any inspection) this classic boat is in exceptional good condition. It has been garaged all its life, stored with it fitted cover and the hull, engine and trailer has recently been refurbished. All brass fittings have recently been removed and polished and lacquered for longevity. The simplex engine starts first time every time and is renowned to be very reliable and simple to maintain. Cruising speed is around 4 knots but can achieve up to 7 knots when opened up. Engine incredible efficient, consuming just one litre of fuel for every hours of runtime.
